Mets Rain Out June 14, 2008
What a shame,
It had to rain,
And we didn't get to view the game!
The game not played,
Though the true fans stayed,
In hopes it would only be delayed.
The seats were great,
So we chose to wait,
And so arrived home real late!
Soaked and wet,
Our car we met
And that was Mike's last game I bet!

This was a wonderful night for all! Todd, Mary, Tom, Mike and myself met here on a Friday evening after work. It is such a fun place! It is located in Astoria and they have an outdoor beirgarten. Good thing Mike and I got a table by 6:30, the placed was packed! Thousands of people poured lagers and ales from pitcher to pint glass while one lonely patron sipped a Cosmo at the picnic table. Ah, I love summer!

Showers of Happiness for Kelly! 31 May 2008
This weekend was Kelly's Bridal Shower. As a bridesmaid, I had the wonderful task of making the hat!! I have always wanted to be the one to make the hat. If you are like Mike and don't know what "the hat" is, consult above picture. Just one of those weird bridal shower rituals... a fabulous time was had by all. Props to Kim for throwing an awesome party.
